I've been checking out what our town library has to offer in the dvd section. Not too bad, really. Really pretty much of everything for any mood, actually. You just have to be there at the right time, and you can find real gems. Good entertainment for dark autumn nights, if nothing else!

Loved Kirk Douglas as Vincent van Gogh, again. Interesting themes dealt in Padre Padrone, L'amore di Màrja, the whole Trois couleurs -trilogy, as well as in the pretty light-hearted Caramel. Since taking that screenwriting course, I've been more interested in the Finnish movie scene, too. I can see what the writers have been after...

Feeling love for many beautiful things, such as, beautiful languages like Italian and French - basically all kinds of language use, too, actually - inspiring people, inspiring books, beautiful classical music (which I wish I had more of at home), all kinds of creativity, talent and insight. Got enough already of this 'beauty' thing I've got going on? Okay, this is it, for today.
